Immerse yourself in the underground Wine and Christmas Market in Traben-Trarbach from November 21, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
This unique underground Christmas market focused on wine, enjoyment, and culture not only invites visitors to relax and enjoy festive treats beneath the surface, but also offers a varied program of cultural, traditional, and musical highlights. Events around the ice-skating rink also create a festive atmosphere outside the underground world of Traben-Trarbach. This ensures a great experience even if the weather is not cooperating.

FILMING “DOWN THE ROAD” AT THE OLIVE TREE HOLIDAY HOME
The adventurers of “Down the Road” also stayed at the Olive Tree holiday home during their journey.
The documentary series on ARD follows an adventurous road trip of six young people with Down syndrome and singer Ross Antony as their companion. During the journey, they grow beyond themselves.
“Down the Road” is an extraordinary six-part road trip documentary. In episodes 5 and 6, the travelers stay with Ross Antony in Bullay at the Olive Tree holiday home.
Emotional and authentic
“Down the Road” is designed as a show for the whole family. It is not a documentary about people with Down syndrome, but a documentary with people with Down syndrome.
It creates something authentic, emotional, respectful, and surprising.

A film crew from SWR accompanied the Trier-based artist for two days while she worked in her screen-printing studio.
In the series Handwerkskunst!, SWR regularly provides insights into craftsmanship and traditional artisan techniques.
Anja Streese has been working with screen printing for 21 years. Since 2018, she has been self-employed and has fulfilled her lifelong dream.
Her studio is located in the Kunsthaus on Alkuinstraße in Trier, and she welcomes interested visitors.
